Presented to the Mills River Town Council on May 11, 2023, and now available online is the draft Fiscal Year 2024 Operating Budget and Capital Improvement Plan. Town Council will be discussing this again on May 25, 2023 at 6:30 pm. A public hearing is scheduled for June 8, 2023 at 6:30 pm. The public is invited to attend either of these meetings and provide feedback to the Council.
The budget is balanced at $9,473,771. This represents a significant increase over the current year, due to one-time capital expenditures of approximately $3.3 million.
